This year’s Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London was bigger and included more works than ever before. One of these was an artist book, “Liminal” by our very own Patti Taylor.
As well as more pieces being included in total, the number and prominence of these that incorporate textile and stitch has also grown. Not every piece will be to everyone’s taste, but it is gratifying to see this medium becoming increasingly accepted into the world of fine art.
